Learning a new language is hard. Sometimes, hearing something in your native tongue can really help set you at ease! Additionally, it shows students and families that educators are making an effort to connect with them as individuals.

Unsure of what to learn? Try to figure out the words for: hello, goodbye, thank you, you're welcome, good, etc. If you don't know where to start, try Google Translate. In addition, or if the language you are looking for is not available, you can always ask your student or their family to create a personal learning experience!
